2 Ways to Cook Baby Back Ribs on a Pit Boss Pellet Grill

1. Smoked Baby Back Ribs

Smoked baby back ribs are easy to cook. And if you are cooking them on PitBoss pellet grill, it is even easier.

Ingredients

You will require the following ingredient to prepare a finger-lickin' good meal.

  1. 2 Cups Apple Juice
  2. 2 Racks Baby Back Rib
  3. Southern Style BBQ Sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to smoke mode or 200 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. With a knife and a paper towel, remove the membrane on the rib's backside. Start smoking the rubs.
  3. Place the rib on the grates of the grill and smoke it for at least 2 hours. Here, smoke the rib with a dry rub.
  4. After the required time, remove the rib from the grill and turn the temperature of the grill to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the ribs inside the aluminum boat made using the aluminum foil.
  5. Pour a cup of apple juice on the rib and tightly seal the foil. Put it back on the grill for another 2 hours.
  6. After the time is up, remove the rib from the foil and coat with barbecue sauce. Now, turn the temperature of the grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After the grill has been preheated, return the ribs to the grill.
  7. Since you are only trying to get the sauce to firm up, don't leave the rib over the grill for a long time. You can get the desired firmness within 15 minutes. This process requires your brief supervision. This is because the sugar from the apple juice and the sauce can burn easily, ruining the taste of your ribs. So, stay there and supervise the cooking until the time is up.
  8. Take the ribs off of the grill and leave them to rest. After 15 minutes, serve hot and enjoy a delicious meal.

2. Texas Smoked Ribs

Ingredients

For the preparation of the meal, get the following ingredients ready.

  • 1 Cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 rack baby back rib
  • 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. Peel the membrane on the backside of the rib by using a knife.
  2. Rub the ribs with the olive oil.
  3. Mix together the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl and put it aside.
  4. Start the grill and set it to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the rib on the grates and smoke for 3 hours.
  5. Now, take off the rib and place them on a foil-lined sheet pan. Brush both sides of the rib with the apple cider vinegar mixture (the one you prepared in Step 3). For an additional 1 hour, place the ribs on the grates.
  6. Once the time is up, remove the ribs and let them rest for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
